333 Collins St Wedding, The Atlantic Group Wedding Reception, Florence and Luke

Happy 2013 everyone!! Hope you’re all having a great start to the new year. My apologies for not updating this blog as frequently as I normally do. It’s been a crazily busy wedding season (in a good way!) so I’ve been spending most of my time shooting and editing weddings every week, rather than posting them up online. You will probably find more updated photos on my facebook page here.:)

Ying Photography finished 2012 with a bang, complete with xmas tree, lobster dinner, snowflakes and fireworks! No kidding! What a fun way to end our last photo shoot for 2012 at Florence and Luke’s wedding! Despite the heat, we had a fabulous time with the fun and very good looking bridal party.

I think this photo is very representative of Florence and Luke’s wedding. Luke’s favorite time of the year is Xmas, so it seems fitting, that they planned to seal their vows in front of a xmas tree inside the elegant 333 Collins St.

Gorgeous Florence. Check out her hairpiece and the detail in her dress!

Love the shoes and the bouquet!!

The boys got ready at Florence and Luke’s St Kilda apartment. Luke appeared relaxed, and looked like a pro in front the camera.

We enjoyed a cool rest inside the air conditioned Melbourne Supper Club…

…before heading to the grand interiors of 333 Colins Place for their ceremony. This place is AMAZING to photograph!

A beautiful ceremony where we enjoyed an entertaining account of their love story, apparently Luke proposed to Florence in Florence!

Florence did not expect the surprise that awaited her following her first dance. Apparently Luke planned to surprise her with a white xmas! Snow flakes fell onto the dance floor as the bridal party joined them for the song ‘all I want for xmas is you!’

When we heard the news that there will be fireworks in the evening, we made sure we stayed an extra hour for this! I only had a few minutes’ notice to setup the shots and was thrilled to be able to capture all these on camera!

What a way to top off this magical night of celebration!
