Quat Quatta Wedding, Jade and Darren

Jade is an outgoing, optimistic and adventurous kind of girl and I’ve been friends with her for many years. Throughout our single days and Japan travels, we used to chat about the type of guy we want to end up with. ‘Someone similar to me, who will be my best friend’ I remember her telling me, and in Darren I’m happy to say, that she found exactly that.

It was a great honour to be asked to photograph this beautiful couple. As they were complete naturals in front of the camera, this made my job so easy and fun. The following photos were taken both during their engagement shoot and actual wedding day.

Jade absolutely loved the Quat Quatta dressing room, so I had to include some of the photos taken there ๐Ÿ˜‰ย

One of the most elegant dressing rooms I’ve photographed in a while

See what I mean by them being ‘naturals’?

During the engagement shoot we also headed off to the Yarra Valley countryside to take some photo with a horse

It was very special being privately serenaded by these 2, one of the perks of my job ๐Ÿ˜‰

We discovered that this location had an upstairs area where I could shoot from above! yay

So we decided to have some fun… Oh and you should have heard them act this scene out, it was hilarious with the sound effects ๐Ÿ˜‰Ok back to Quat Quatta, on the actual wedding day. Introducing the beautiful bridal party…

ย Their ceremony was immediately followed by a lunch reception

Jade surprised the guest by appearing in this gorgeous pink number, singing ‘Angel’ย Brother and sister watching on as the childhood slideshow is played

Great speech by Darren, humbly thanking all the guests for comingJade is definitely a fan:)

The bridal party should be HIGHLY commended for braving the chilly winter wind. Omg, even I was freezing in my goose down jacket that day!!

Darren decided to crash the party..

…so we let the luckiest man of the day lie down in front

Congrats Jade and Darren!!
